Our Hearts Break for the Runaway, throw-away youth. Life on the streets is dangerous for young girls. We gave McDonald’s hamburgers and socks to a runaway girl on Venice Beach. She was severely beaten with a black eye and a broken jaw for resisting a rape situation. Your Gifts of McDonalds Gift Certificates make this possible.	The Youth Build their Own Homes The Blankets that we distribute to build relationships are used for more than just body warmth. It’s pretty common for the youth to couple-up and make a tent to sleep in. They build their own portable homes for shelter. Your Blanket Donations are Important. A tarp makes a world of difference when the rains come and can be the deciding factor in whether they sleep dry or not. We Help Them with Life Skills

Computer Skills Training Whether we bring them in through our Beaches Outreach, “The Hood” or they live in one of our Transition Program Homes, we make sure computer skills training is provided to give folks the skills they need to get a good job. Many people have absolutely no computer skills at all when they start. We take the time needed to bring them into modern times regarding being able to use a computer.	Graduates are Equipped We equip each and every graduate with a Certificate of Completion and a refurbished Dell Laptop computer. Not only do they have proof of skills to present to a potential employer with their newly written resume, but they have a new tool for success of their very own!	It All Starts Here - Computer Donations When you upgrade your electronics of any sort, especially computers, laptops or tablets, please consider donating to Hope For Homeless Youth. Working Laptop or Desktop computers can be used in our classroom and to equip the underprivileged kids and disciples who graduate their course. We raffle or giveaway laptops at our outreaches to gather a crowd and preach the gospel to them.

Reaching Them Before They Need Us

Verdugo High School Here are two of the girls that received salvation and accepted Jesus for the first time. Katie (front) received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues.	Bible Club at Verdugo High School We shoot off our inventors’ club rockets to get attention and build relationships. This opens the door to share the Gospel and who we are in Jesus. We make it exciting to be a part of a Bible Club.	John Muir High School Great Bible Study with six. Two Workers from PIHOP helped our team. All accepted Jesus and laid hands on each one and prayed.

Like-Minded Fellowship The purpose of the Hope for Homeless Youth ex-offender reentry program is to mitigate these problems to allow the offender to concentrate on adjusting to life on the outside. Our program offers housing, job training and job acquisition assistance in an atmosphere of Christ-centered discipleship. Our reentry program also allows ex-offenders to befriend others that are in their same position. This offers a support system that can be helpful and also promotes a team environment.	We Support Them The Hope for Homeless Youth Reentry Program is designed to help men leaving prison successfully transition to independence.	We Believe Christ Based Reentry Programs Perform Better Ex-offender reentry programs are proven to help recidivism rates among all ex-offenders regardless of sex, race or creed. Christian Reentry programs have an even higher proven success rate. Many ex-offenders have a very hard time on the outside after serving their sentences. Ex-offenders have difficulties finding jobs, adequate housing or even attaining photo identification.

Relationship Building For these working women, fostering a stress-free bond is key. Many have faced hardships beyond what most can grasp, making them unexpectedly open to supportive gestures like prayers for their safety. Their lives are fraught with danger, from the uncertainty of harm when entering a car to far worse. Playing a positive role in their lives enriches both the supporter and the supported.	Roses Open Doors We give roses to the prostitutes and tell them that they are as precious as a rose to God and that He loves them.	We ask if we can pray for them Some of these girls are so very young and welcome prayer for protection. They know they lead dangerous lives. Many accept Jesus on the spot.

At the Skate Park There are many nefarious influences, not the least of which are gang influencers and even recruiters. Most of these kids are fatherless and gangs seem so natural for them to grow up in. We visit these parks weekly and bring another INFLUENCER, The Lord’s Spirit.	We outreach to them Outreach with the kids in the skateboard park. We buy them hamburgers and share the Love of Jesus with them. This day we had two that received Jesus.	At the Skate Shop Each Friday night, we buy pizza for the kids at the Sunland skateboard shop. This builds friendship and opens the door to minister Jesus into their lives. We are very burdened to reach these kids before they join gangs.

Gang members hang out with Potential Gang Inductees Anywhere you find one, you find the other and we find them because we go where they hang out.	We have Food and Freebies No matter who you are or how hardened you are, everyone wants pizza and free stuff. Those are our door openers for Introducing them to Jesus.	Prayer is our End Game Accepting the Lord Jesus into their hearts and the Laying on of hands for a “Prayer of Blessing” is our Objective.

Carrying the Crosses It’s a visual representation of what Jesus did for us and people cannot help but ask about it.	Young or Mature You’ll be able to take this experience back to your city and put it into action. You’ll be able to say, “We carried the 8ft crosses down Hollywood Blvd and shared Jesus."
