Free pick up for large donations. Smaller donations can be dropped off at our " Hope Computer Center " in South Los Angeles. We provide tax deductible receipts for all donations. When donating large amounts of computer equipment we will take your I.T related E-Waste as well.

How We Use Your Donations

We are Microsoft Authorized Refurbishers and authorized by the the State of California Environmental Protection Agency to handle and transport Universal Hazardous Electronic Waste. We dismantle, refurbish, rebuild, upgrade PCs doubling their working lives from 5 years to 10, laptops from 3 to 6 years. Our refurbished items are sold to fund many of our outreach programs so we are able to reach out to many low income individuals and families. We donate refurbish computer systems and laptops to under privileged individuals and families.

Tech Equipment You Can Donate To Us We accept a wide range of tech equipment, including; • Computers and tablets (including laptops, desktops, PCs, and Macs)

• Network devices • Audio equipment • Medical equipment • Monitors • Mice and keyboards • Cables and cords • Printers and fax machines • UPS batteries • Other tech equipment, including digital cameras, hard drives, memory cards, and laptop batteries, toner cartridges, cell phones • We do not accept appliances or office furniture

We offer data destruction through Data Erasure, compliant with US Department of Defense (DoD) 5220.22-M standards, or physical hard drive destruction via drilling or crushing with an arbor press.

We use the industry standard DoD 5220.22-M Data Erasure The U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) published the DoD 5220.22-M ECE method, which is a 7-pass version of the original standard that is executed in the following way: 
Pass 1: Overwrite all addressable locations with binary zeroes
Pass 2: Overwrite all addressable locations with binary ones 
Pass 3: Overwrite all addressable locations with a random bit pattern 
Pass 4: Overwrite all addressable locations with binary zeroes 
Pass 5: Overwrite all addressable locations with binary zeroes 
Pass 6: Overwrite all addressable locations with binary ones 
Pass 7: Overwrite all addressable locations with a random bit pattern
